Who keeps this list, and how it gets made.

Pet Board PCB is a small, independently run directory of pet services in Panama City, Florida. It is maintained by one local pet owner, not a national listings network, and it exists for a simple reason: finding a decent groomer, vet, sitter or trainer here usually means scrolling through map pins, out-of-date phone numbers, and pages that rank well without telling you anything useful. The board is the shortcut a neighbor would give you.

Every business on the list is added by hand. Before a listing goes up, the name, street address, phone number and website are checked against the business's own site or its verified public profile, and the description is written from what that business actually says it does — not scraped boilerplate. Listings that operate as mobile or in-home services are labeled that way instead of being given a fake storefront address. When a shop closes, changes hands, or disconnects its number, the entry is corrected or removed. Nobody pays to be here, nobody can buy a higher position, and there are no sponsored slots mixed into the results. The only advertising on the site is clearly marked display advertising, and it has no influence on who appears or in what order.

The scope is deliberately narrow: Panama City, Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven, Callaway, Parker and the nearby Bay County communities. A national directory can tell you a groomer exists. A local one can tell you it is the shop on Transmitter Road that handles anxious rescues, or the mobile van that will pull into your driveway in Callaway. Staying small is what keeps the details right.
